All orders in one POS system

With Foodyx, orders from your restaurant, your own webshop, the self-service kiosk, QR Ordering, Thuisbezorgd and Uber Eats come together in one POS system. Through POSHUB, connected orders join your other order streams in Foodyx POS. From that central order flow, they are processed further for the kitchen and reporting.

  • Restaurant, own webshop, kiosk and QR Ordering
  • Thuisbezorgd and Uber Eats integrated
  • One order flow through POSHUB

One order flow for all your sales channels

An order at the counter works differently from an order via Thuisbezorgd or your own webshop, but in day-to-day operations you don't want to work with separate systems. Foodyx brings the different sales channels together in Foodyx POS, the digital and connected channels through POSHUB, so orders can be processed from one environment.

From order to POS and kitchen

As soon as an order comes in, Foodyx POS processes it in the same place as your other orders. Depending on your set-up, the order can be sent on to the right kitchen printer or to Foodyx KDS. This means staff don't have to re-enter orders from external sales channels by hand.

Less manual entry

Orders don't have to be re-keyed from separate tablets or systems.

Less chance of mistakes

Products, quantities and notes travel digitally through the order flow.

A calmer kitchen

Orders from different channels can end up in the same kitchen workflow.

One operational overview

Your team doesn't have to keep switching between separate order streams during service.

Your own channels and external ordering platforms

With Foodyx, you don't have to choose between your own sales channel and external platforms. You can use your own webshop, kiosk and QR Ordering alongside Thuisbezorgd and Uber Eats. That way you build direct orders through your own channels, while platform orders remain part of the same daily operation.

The role of POSHUB

POSHUB is the connecting layer between Foodyx products and external integrations. It makes sure orders and relevant order information can be exchanged between sales channels, Foodyx POS and the kitchen.

What an integration layer does and how to bring ordering channels together is explained in the knowledge base: orders from multiple channels in one POS.

  • Receives orders from connected sales channels
  • Passes those orders on to Foodyx POS
  • Makes sure the POS and kitchen work with the same orders
  • Sends the order status back where the integration supports it, as with Thuisbezorgd and Uber Eats

Which restaurants is this for?

This set-up is especially useful for restaurants that handle orders from several channels and want to avoid every order stream getting its own screen, tablet or way of working.

  • Delivery restaurants
  • Takeaway restaurants
  • Pizzerias
  • Snack bars and cafeterias
  • Fast-service restaurants
  • Restaurants with several ordering channels

Frequently asked questions about orders in one POS system

Can I connect Thuisbezorgd and Uber Eats at the same time?

Yes. Both ordering platforms can be connected to Foodyx through POSHUB, so their orders become part of the same order flow. More about connecting Thuisbezorgd and Uber Eats.

Can my own webshop run alongside Thuisbezorgd and Uber Eats?

Yes. Foodyx Webshop can be used alongside external ordering platforms. Orders from your own webshop and connected platforms can be processed in the same Foodyx environment.

Can I also receive kiosk and QR orders on the same POS?

Yes. Foodyx Kiosk and QR Ordering are part of the same Foodyx platform and can have their orders processed in Foodyx POS through POSHUB. See online ordering for restaurants.

Do all orders go to the kitchen automatically?

Depending on how your Foodyx environment is set up, orders can be sent on to the right kitchen printer or Foodyx KDS.

Do I still need separate ordering platform tablets?

To process connected platform orders in Foodyx, you don't need to work with a separate order stream next to the POS. The orders arrive in Foodyx through POSHUB.

Can I add more ordering channels later?

Yes. Foodyx is modular. You can start with the parts you need and add other Foodyx products or supported integrations later.
